Explore the town, and harbor of Bolungarvík. Visit the Ósvör museum, and make a stop in the Tungudalur Valley to see the Brunafoss Waterfall. Then continue on to the town of Isafjordur to visit the maritime museum before heading back to the ship.
Please note: A moderate amount of walking is required and unpaved, uneven ground may be encountered, as well as 2-3 stairs when entering and exiting the coach. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. Tour sequence may vary.
Syðridalur Valley Biking: Explore Iceland's Scenic Trails

Start at the harbor, and after gearing up, bike towards Ósvör Maritime Museum and make our first stop there. Head to the valley of Syðridalur, biking on a gravel road to lake Syðridalsvatn. From Syðridalur back to Bolungarvík village we will ride past the golf course before heading back to the ship.
Please note: Biking distance is approximately 7.5 miles (12 km) with no elevation. Guests participating on this tour should be physically fit, and able to ride a bicycle. Safety equipment is provided and must be worn at all times whilst bicycling. Participation is limited, and may require a signed waiver. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, or guests with limited mobility. The tour sequence may vary.

Drive from Ísafjörður to the neighboring fjord Álftafjörður passing Súðavík village and the picturesque inner fjord. Stop at the bottom of the fjord where we start the moderate hike towards Valagil. There is a marked footpath to the canyon from the road and during this moderate hike, guests may have to go through streams over rocks that may be slippery and loose at times.
Please note: A moderate amount of walking is required and unpaved, uneven ground may be encountered, as well as 2-3 stairs when entering and exiting the coach. Guests are recommended to wear warm, outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants and good sturdy hiking shoes appropriate for the weather. Hike is on uneven ground and paths may be wet or muddy. During this moderate hike guests may have to go through streams over rocks, which may be slippery and loose at time.
