The Blue Lagoon is a lagoon in the lagoon, a sort of natural pool where you can admire breathtaking views featuring white sand and exceptional turquoise-blue gradients.
You can enjoy this remoted incredible paradise snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach.

Village of Rotoava, Old Lighthouse of Topaka
Located at the northeastern end of Fakarava, Rotoava is the larged town on the island. Although the majority of Fakarava's inhabitants lives here, there are only a few streets, which make exploration on e-Bike easy. From the village of Rotoava to the old lighthouse of Topaka. Also known as the Ancien Phare de Topaka, the lighthouse is a 15-meter-tall, gray turret that is no longer in use. The lighthouse is made of coral and dates back to 1957. It's considered a photogenic attraction that looks like it came from a medieval castle.
Oceanside Trail, Church of Jean De la Croix
On your way back, your guide will take you on the oceanside trail to see how locals lives in these latitudes and learn about their everyday routine. Before getting back to the pier, you will stop at the Church of Jean de la Croix built in the typical architecture of the Tuamotu islands for a last picture opportunity. The Church of Jean de la Croix was built in 1874 is a white-washed, vaulted ceiling structure, adorned with coral and shells from the beautiful island. Although Church of Jean de la Croix is not the oldest church on the island, it is the most visited!
Please note: Order of the stops may vary depending & weather conditions. Tours operate in wet weather but all tours are subject to cancellation prior to departure dependent upon inappropriate weather conditions that would lead to safety issues. While this tour is an assisted bike ride, participants must be in good fitness condition to be able to keep up with a group at a fair speed during the tour. There will be riding on mostly flat uneven terrain, in a tropical environment (heat & humidity). Guests must know how to ride a bike and be comfortable with unpaved roads, pregnant women and guests with physical limitations will not be permitted to participate on this tour. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable attire including non-slippery closed toe shoes and bring a hat, sunglasses, insect repellent and a water bottle from the ship. Long pants and a change of sock are highly recommended. The ride is approximately 13km ( 8 miles ) in length.
After a dry landing onto a concrete pier, take a short walk to the village where you will be welcomed by the locals. Afterwards, explore this beautiful island.
Fakarava, is an untouched world where nesting birds and marine life live in harmony with the land and water. The rich ecosystem is home to rare birds, plants, and crustaceans. Life along the shores is equally unique with quaint villages, old coral churches, and welcoming people.
So pure is the environment here that Fakarava has been designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve for the preservation of rare species. This designates this atoll, and six surrounding atolls, as a recognized area where local communities are actively involved in governance and management, research, education, training and monitoring - promoting both socio-economic development and biodiversity conservation.
