Der flach abfallende Strand erstreckt sich über eine Länge von 20 km, die Landschaft ist von weißen Sanddünen und Kokospalmen geprägt. Cumbuco Beach wird gerne von Kitesurfern besucht. Restaurants, Bars und Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind in Strandnähe vorhanden. Nach gut 3 Std. Badeaufenthalt erfolgt die Rückfahrt zum Schiff.

Maranguape and Cachaça Museum
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately one-hour drive to the Cachaça Museum, located in the charming city of Maranguape. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of the museum. Along the way, learn about the history of sugar cane alcohol, brought to the county by the Teles family of Portugal.
Sugar Cane Alcohol Tasting
Following your guided tour, proceed for a tasting of sugar cane alcohol. Afterward, some free time is made available for independent exploration. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately one-hour drive back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and three steps at the museum. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour. Guests must be at least 21 years old to participate in tastings of alcoholic beverages.
Cumbuco Beach Break

Fortaleza is blessed with many spectacular beaches and Cumbuco Beach is no exception. Just 50-minutes drive from the city and attached to a small fishing village, the beach is distinguished by its rolling white sand dunes and empty stretches of sand lined with coconut trees.
Cumbuco Beach
Depart the pier by coach for the scenic, approximately 50-minute drive to Cumbuco beach for a few hours of sun-bathing or anything you wish. Upon arrival at the beach, enjoy a complimentary coconut water drink and some local snacks, before nestling down in to your piece of this fabulous stretch of beach. This beach is a popular spot for kite surfing, sand boarding and buggy tours - the latter, available for purchase on the spot, involve a hair-raising ride over the bumps and inclines that will leave you giddy and white-knuckled and most likely eager for more!
A more sedate activity available is horse riding, although the most popular activity is of course soaking up the sun on the beach.
At the appointed time, re-join your coach for the return drive to the pier and your awaiting ship.
Please note: Tour involves minimal to moderate walking and is up to the discretion of the guest. It is not suitable for guests who utilise a wheelchair.We recommend wearing a swimsuit under a cover-up, water shoes, sun protection and bring a towel from the ship. Please note that Cumbuco Beach, as most of Brazilian beaches, is not equipped with sunbeds but there are umbrellas and plastic tables and chairs available. Depart the pier area by motor coach and tour Fortaleza, the capital city, which has been for decades one of the most popular destinations for tourists with an easy grid pattern. Learn about the history and heritage of Fortaleza, head towards Praia do Futuro and see some of Fortaleza's historical monuments such as the Sé Cathedral.
Central Market, Dragão do Mar Culture Center, Parque do Coco
Visit renowned landmarks including the Central Market, the Dragão do Mar Culture Center and the Parque do Coco.
Following this scenic drive, relax and enjoy the approximate 20-minute return ride to the pier.

José de Alencar Theatre
Board your coach and head to the José de Alencar Theatre. Upon arrival, take a guided stroll inside this Art Nouveau-style building, which officially opened in 1910 and includes a lovely garden adjacent to the theatre.
Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre, Museum of Photography
Continue to the Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre, a must-see during your visit to Fortaleza. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of this lovely, expansive building, which includes facilities for exhibitions, a theatre, library, cinema, and planetarium.
Visit the Museum of Photography of Fortaleza, located in a modern building and featuring interesting exhibitions.
At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 500metres at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, and up to 60 combined steps at the Cathedral, Tourism Centre, José de Alencar Theatre, and the Dragão do Mar Cultural Centre. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, bottled water, and US Dollars, local currency, or credit cards for purchases.
