Etwa einstündige Katamaranfahrt zur Seychellen-Insel Aride mit herrlicher Aussicht auf die Küste und die Nachbarinseln Praslins. Aride zählt zu den schönsten tropischen Naturschutzgebieten der Welt und gehört der Royal Society of Nature Conservation an. Die Insel beheimatet unzählige brütende Seevögel und insgesamt mehr Vogelarten als die übrigen Granitinseln des Archipels zusammen, einige Arten davon kommen ausschließlich auf den Seychellen vor. Auch findet man hier seltene und einzigartige Pflanzen. Bei Ankunft erfolgt der Umstieg vom Katamaran in ein lokales Schlauchboot, das Sie zum Strand bringt. Der Ausstieg erfolgt im knietiefen Wasser, kein Anlegesteg. Auf einem Erkundungsgang (ca. 1,5 Std.) unter Führung eines englischsprechenden Naturschützers sehen Sie mit etwas Glück Seeschwalben, Seychellenweber, Weißschwanz-Tropikvögel, Schlankschnabelnoddi und Bindenfregattvögel in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung. Natürlich haben Sie auch Gelegenheit für ein wenig Entspannung oder zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln am Strand. Ihr Mittagessen nehmen Sie an Bord des Katamarans ein. Am Nachmittag erfolgt die Rückfahrt nach La Digue zum Schiff.

Snorkelling fans can discover the exotic marine world the Seychelles are famous for. After your tender ride ashore, board the catamaran and sail towards Coco Island. Cruise onboard a sailing catamaran for a snorkelling experience that is second to none. The island is merely a small granitic outcrop with a few palm trees, but its real treasure lies in the depths around. Often compared to a living aquarium, the site attracts numerous fish species floating to the surface to feed - a unique underwater paradise.


From the boat, enter the crystalline waters to swim and snorkel among brilliantly coloured fish. You may want to wear a T-shirt while snorkelling as sun protection and bring a second T-shirt to change into afterwards. Refreshments are served on board the catamaran. Upon your return to La Digue's Jetty you may decide to stay on La Digue or return on board for lunch with the ship's tender.

Please note: We recommend wearing a swimsuit under a beach cover-up and rubber shoes to protect feet from coral. Snorkel equipment is provided. Guests must be able to climb the boat's ladder down and out of the water. When requesting your tour ticket, please indicate your shoe size for proper size fins. Tour has limited space, but requires a minimum to operate. Due to the nature of the tour, participants are asked to sign a disclaimer. During your visit, take a guided walking tour of the copra kiln, traditional coconut oil mill and Colonial plantation house.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, sandy, and natural ground and exposed roots, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the ferry. Walking at Anse Source d'Argent and La Passe Village is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing and bottled water from the ship.
