Point Hope is one of the oldest continually occupied sites in North America. Come ashore and spend time visiting the village with a local resident guide, and learn how the residents actively practice a subsistence lifestyle relying largely on traditional activities.
Please note: Respect for culture, and space are important when visiting Point Hope. Approximately two hours, and two miles of walking. There are some uneven surfaces, making parts of this tour unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. Weather is unpredictable in the region. Some showers could be expected at any time of the year. It is recommendable to wear layered clothing, a windbreaker and good walking shoes.
