1. Tag: Frühstück an Bord und Transfer zum Flughafen von San Diego für Ihren etwa 1,5-stündigen Flug nach Las Vegas (Mittagessen individuell am Flughafen). Nach der Ankunft in Las Vegas Transfer zum Hotel Treasure Island o.ä. Nachdem Sie eingecheckt haben Transfer zum Abendessen im Hard Rock Café o.ä. Im Anschluss erleben Sie Las Vegas bei Nacht und unternehmen eine abendliche Rundfahrt durch die Stadt. Übernachtung im Hotel.
2. Tag: Zeitiges Frühstück im Hotel und Transfer zum Flughafen von Boulder City. Nach Erledigung der Formalitäten folgt Ihr Flug zum Grand Canyon. Durch die Fenster der Maschine genießen Sie bei guter Sicht beeindruckende Ausblicke auf den Hoover Dam (Staumauer), Lake Mead (ein 1936 fertiggestellter Stausee) und den Colorado River (der größte Fluss Nordamerikas). Aus dieser Perspektive besonders eindrucksvoll zeigt sich der majestätische Grand Canyon Nationalpark mit seiner gigantischen Schlucht, die hier mehr als 1 km tief und 11 km weit ist. Nach der Landung unternehmen Sie mit dem Bus eine Landschaftsfahrt durch den Nationalpark. Halt an den Aussichtspunkten Bright Angel Lodge sowie Mather Point (ca. 2.170 m), wo Sie bei herrlichen Ausblicken etwas Zeit beim Fotografieren oder an den Souvenirständen verbringen können. Danach fahren Sie durch die Innenstadt und passieren das berühmte "Gaslamp Quarter", bevor Sie zum Balboa Park gelangen. Kurzer Fußweg zu einer Hornblower-Yacht, mit der Sie zur etwa 3,5-stündigen Walbeobachtung starten. Die Yacht bietet Sitzgelegenheiten im Innen- und Außenbereich sowie eine Snack-Bar (nicht inkl.).
